The O'Bannon family started Hometown the long way around — as landlords first. We hired every property manager in town, watched the same junk-fee playbook on every statement, and finally got tired enough to build the company we wished existed: one that picks up the phone, runs the numbers honestly, and treats every house like it's our own. Two decades later, that's still the only standard we hold ourselves to.

We grew up in the Brazos Valley, raised our family here, and built Hometown around the simple promise that you should always be able to reach a real person who knows your house by name. Everyone on our team works out of Bryan/College Station. Everyone is on payroll. No call centers, no outsourced after-hours line.
